Graduate Student Mike Murcia Receives Travel Award from The Biophysical Society

INDIANAPOLIS - 11.23.2005

Mike Murcia received a travel award of the Biophysical Society to attend the next Annual Biophysical Meeting, which will be held in Salt Lake City in February of next year. The award, which is very competitive, recognizes Mike's highly innovative research on "Quantum Dot-Conjugated Biomembrane Probes for Single Molecule Imaging Applications". This is the second prestigeous student award at the national level Mike received this year!
