Christoph Naumann and Mike Murcia published: "Biofunctionalization of Nanomaterials"

A single-volume on the "Biofunctionalization of Nanomaterials" just appeared where Christoph Naumann and graduate student Mike Murcia of our Department are co-authors. This 385 page book, which was published by Wiley-VCH, brings together the state-of-the-art synthetic methods and materials aspects of instilling biocompatibility into nanomaterials. The book represents the first volume of a 10 volume series on "Nanotechnologies for the Life Sciences" (Editor: C. S. S. R. Kumar). This major series is the first comprehensive source covering the convergence of materials and life sciences on the nanoscale. The IUPUI contribution about the "Biofunctionalization of Fluorescent Nanoparticles" was chosen as the first chapter of the whole series and is available as the sample chapter at the Wiley-VCH web site.
