NIC Objectives:

1. Providing ready access to state-of-the-art nano-scale instrumentation that would otherwise be inaccessible.


2. Establishing and maintaining a Web site for the Center.


3. Promote the Center through a program of education, seminars, courses etc.


4. Obtaining funding for the Center


5. Maintaining the Center's equipment.


6. Helping other faculty to use the equipment.


7. Helping faculty to include the equipment in grant proposals.


8. Encouraging local industries to utilize the Center.


9. Establishing an appropriate user fee and time use schedule.


10. Evaluating work proposals presented to the NIC
