Policy on Unexcused Absences:
No unexcused absences will be allowed for the exams. Acceptable reasons for excused
absences are listed in the “Students Rights and Responsibilities” Handbook. Missed
exams without prior notification will be graded as a zero unless in case of emergency.
In the event that an absence is excused for a test, a special makeup must be scheduled
at the convenience of the proctor in charge of supervising makeup tests.
Students Rights and Responsibilities:
Policies related to excused absences, cheating/plagiarism, withdrawal, incomplete grade,
and exams can be found in your copy of “Students Rights and Responsibilities”. As students
and faculty, we are all responsible for adhering to these policies.
Academic Dishonesty:
Academic dishonesty or cheating of any kind will simply not be tolerated. This is a
serious offense and the instructor will make every effort to ensure that the punishment
is immediate and severe.
Attendance:
Regular attendance at class meetings is required. Cooperation with group and class
members in achieving the goals is also required. Lecture material will be presented each
day in class.
