Recommended (but not required) Carey – Organic Chemistry Study Guide Sample exams, answer keys to this semester’s exams and selected lecture notes and references will be available on ERROL.

Molecular model kits are also available in the bookstore. These kits are not required, but it is strongly recommend that you make the investment in one. Organic chemistry is a highly visual discipline which takes place in three dimensions; model building will greatly enhance your understanding of the material. Additionally, inexpensive organic model kits may be ordered “on-line” from The Darling Co. at www.darlingmodels.com

Course Requirements

Prerequisites include C105 and first semester organic chemistry (C341). Any student who has not passed C341 cannot enroll in this course. Additionally, those who received a grade of less than C are strongly recommended to re-enroll in C341 before taking this course.
